Changing facilities at the new Cardiff International Pool have been boosted with the installation of two family dryers™ from Haystack Dryers.
Specifically built to meet the needs of the centre, the machines are designed for drying up to five people at a time. They offer one-touch operation, with customers just pushing a button or inserting a coin to start drying.
Located in Cardiff Bay, the International Pool is one of the new facilities at Cardiff International Sports Village, itself part of a continuing regeneration strategy that will transform a former brown field industrial site into an international destination, attracting an anticipated 3.5m visitors and providing up to 5,000 jobs.
The pool is expected to see up to 800,000 visitors a year with its offer of a 50m, ten lane pool with moveable booms; spectator seating for 1,000 people; and a separate 25m leisure pool with flumes, lazy river and space bowl.
Also available are a 110-station gym, activity studios and a health suite with spa.
